The launch was 199 for JP Aerospace. It was attended by happy little family members, whose voices added to the launch cheers. The tear panel removal was filmed from the runner’s point of view, and is a new perspective for JP Aerospace videos.
Up top, the extent of fire and smoke was seen by the broad swath of smoke from horizon to horizon. Valve actuation tests were visible, and a fair shot at top of screen of the parachute actuation. Landing and recovery shots show the vehicle landed on a flat plain, a rare occasion. Usual landings are in mountainous terrain.
