Here’s a government program to keep old engineers working. That’s a good thing, keeping our expertise alive as it passes experience on to succeeding generations of engineers. Yet, as the baby of Congressional pork barrel, I do wonder if the SLS will ever launch. Or, maybe we should ask, “Will it ever need to launch?”
